This uniquely styled Dynamic Rugs Ancient Garden Collection Hearth Rug - Black Palazzo combines a light ornate pattern atop a black background. For long-lasting durability and beauty, this rug is stain-resistant, fade-resistant, and fire-resistant. Turn-of-the-century Persian patterns are skillfully recreated in the exciting and sophisticated Ancient Garden Collection. The antique shades from sun-washed colors are softly blended with today's fashion of low-contrast patterns with field colors of champagne, dusted blue, soft greens, creme, malt, and a luxurious black or ruby red. These rugs are Wilton-woven with DECOLAN, a wool-like, fine, heat-set polypropylene fiber at nearly a million points per square meter to achieve a fine, pencil-point finish and design clarity.

          i bought this rug to use in front of my fireplace. I have a dog that likes to dig at rugs and tear them up, I have had this rug for a week and it is still in one piece. It is a very attractive rug. Since I have only had it one week I can't say anything about how long it will hold up, but it seems to be a sturdy product.
