Suitable for use with wood-burning fireplaces, Guardian Collection rugs are produced in four-foot and five-foot half-round shape options and constructed of fiberglass. Fiberglass provides the maximum level of protection of any hearth rug available.


This Guardian Collection Hearth Rug meets or exceeds the CPSC standard FF170 for flammability. This means that the carpet will not continue to support combustion once the igniting source has either cooled or been removed. Enjoy midwinter warmth and safety with this attractive rug.

      This rug is everything it claims to be, except that the color isn't even close to the swatch online. I ordered a rug that appeared to be a rich chocolate brown, but is in reality much lighter and does not match my decor as well. Other than that, it's seems great, so far.
