For the price, it's a value. I was a little disappointed that it was partially assembled and came without instructions. Not too difficult to figure out though. If your looking for simplicity, minimal decoration, protection, and a value, this is your product. My fireplace looks aesthetically better with this screen.

Not bad for an inexpensive screen. I use it to keep my 1-year-old away from our gas fireplace. The screens arrived intact, though will pop out some if you apply significant pressure. They can be popped back in with some finagling. It looks pretty good, and serves its function for us. I bought two, and only expect to use them only for this year, though they could conceivably last for probably 2-4 years or so if need be. I wouldn't buy them for long-term use.

The material is very cheap. The screen did not actually connect to the frame.

This was a very flimsy item and most certainly not worth [$]. I would expect to pay [$] for something so cheaply made. I intend to return it.
